We are now 30 members strong! A handful of people can really pull of something spectacular like On The Record. 500 people came throughout the two day event, we sold 70% of the exhibit. Since starting at the end of January we have sold more than $6,000 worth of art and prices ranged from $20 to $1,500, many of the sales have been over the $100 mark.
ArtD members provide volunteer hours keeping gallery open to the public Saturdays from noon to 4pm, featuring the Euphony Lounge in what used to be a bank vault. Come check out our newly designed main gallery . . . thanks to the efforts of MLK Community Mural Project. ArtD members also volunteer to pull off the shows which launch the next exhibit.
Membership cards are available at our next meeting. Local restaurants and businesses offer special benefits to our card carryin’ members. Thank you Abay’s, Buffalo Blues, Joe Mama’s, YMH and Fuel & Fuddle.
If you are a member, or interested artist, we are having an open meeting Thursday, July 23rd at 8pm about the next big event, “Summer of Love ’09” on August 22th. If you are interested in becoming a member, please fill out a membership form and make a check payable to East Liberty Development Inc.: $40 students, $50 regular.

? Only ArtDimensions members can exhibit in ArtDimensions shows, as of May 2009.
? ArtDimensions Members earn 80% of the sales price for works sold.
? ArtDimensions Members receive sales, marketing, pricing and artist statement support.
? ArtDimensions members get admittance to shows and classes at ArtD for free or a reduced fee.
ArtD volunteers are mainly focused on educating artists and youth to make money with their works. We need to focus on our next opening show August 24th and exhibit which will run for 2 months, during which ArtD volunteers will maintain gallery hours Saturday from noon to 4pm.
